TB Watkins Interior Modernization Phase 1 - Demolition

The Housing Authority of Kansas City, Missouri (HAKC) is seeking qualified contractors to bid on the Interior Demolition (Phase 1 of Modernization) at Theron B. Watkins 1319 Vine Street, KCMO 64106. This is the first of four buildings on the demo project. The units vary from 1 to 5 bedrooms with 1 to 2 bathrooms depending on size of unit. The units will need to be completely gutted.  

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. CDT, on May 5, 2025, at the Housing Authority's administration office, at 3822 Summit St. Kansas City, MO 64106. For an invitation to the public bid opening at 2:30 pm via TEAMS meeting contact meabman@hakc.org. 

A pre-bid on-site meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. CDT, on April 22, 2025, at 1319 Vine Street, Kansas City, MO 64106.

This project is federally funded and subject to all applicable regulations. Prevailing wage must be paid as scheduled in the Project Manual. The Authority reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and all bids or request additional information from any bidder.
